8 Must Watch Disney Plus Movies for Your First Visit to Magic Kingdom

You have planned your Disney World vacation, and you are so excited to share the enchantment of Magic Kingdom with your little one. Before you go, there are some Disney movies that you should watch together to get ready. 

Disney has made this super easy for us all now. No longer do we have to wait for the Disney vault to open, simply login to your Disney+ account and cue up the videos on this list. 

Alice in Wonderland (1951)

Follow Alice to Wonderland and meet the zany characters who reside there. This film will ready you for your meet and greet with Alice and the Madhatter at the Mad Tea Party attraction.* While you are there, take a spin in a teacup at the Mad Tea Party. Then, grab a treat at the Cheshire Cafe in Fantasyland.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Follow along with Belle on her adventure in Beast's magical castle. Then become a part of the story with Belle at the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction. You can also dine like royalty at Be Our Guest Restaurant.** Be sure to visit the west wing so you can spy the enchanted rose, try the Grey Stuff too. I almost forgot, Gaston! You can meet him near Gaston'sTavern. While you are there, you can grab a quick bite to eat.*

Cinderella (1950)

Find out if the shoe fits in the tale of rags to royal. With a castle nestled at the center of Magic Kingdom, I guess it worked out well. Stroll through the castle archway to view the beautiful mosaics which depict Cinderella's story. Meet your fairy godmother at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, located in the castle.** Here Fairy Godmothers sprinkle their fairy dust to turn children into knights and princesses. At Cinderella's Royal Table, also in her castle, you can dine like royalty with the princesses.** Once you are glammed and fed, you are steps away from Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. You also have the opportunity to meet Cinderella at Princess Fairytale Hall. She has a fountain and a wishing well too!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)

Escape to the Hundred Acre Wood for a fanciful adventure with Pooh. Step into the story to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger at the Thotful Spot in Fantasyland. Also, enjoy their attraction The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. If that adventure left your tumbly rumbly, head over to the Crystal Palace to enjoy a lovely buffet with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore.**

Toy Story 2 (1999)

Join the rescue at Al's Toy Barn and battle the evil Emperor Zurg before you visit Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. This movie will ready you for your encounter with Zurg as you fight to get the batteries on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Then meet Buzz at Star Command Headquarters and grab his autograph!*

Peter Pan (1953) 

Journey to the land where children don't grow up! Then you're off to an escapade as you set sail on a ship at Peter Pa

ns Flight. Next, meet Peter Pan himself in Fantasyland before he heads off on his next adventure.* At Town Square Theater, you can meet Tinkerbell too!*

The Little Mermaid (1989)

Follow Ariel's adventure in the world above the sea. Then, experience her voyage at Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. Next, meet Ariel in her grotto in Fantasyland. You can even grab a quick treat at Prince Eric's Village Market.

Fantasia (1940)

While it doesn't feature the Sensational Six (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto), Fantasia is a can't miss. This film is sure to excite your imagination. Next watch Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers (2004)  to meet them and more! Now you can enjoy the best of the best! Meet Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy at Storybook Circus. You can meet Mickey Mouse too at Town Square Theater and jump into the fantasy with Mickeys Philharmagic in Fantasyland.
