
Having the opportunity to visit EPCOT several times since it's reopening, I have had the chance to try many of the delights being served. Of the many options presented at the Festival, here are my ten favorite food items at EPCOT's Taste of Food and Wine Festival.
10. Charcuterie and Cheese Plate, Appleseed Orchard (World Showplace)
It is difficult to go wrong with a charcuterie tray. Meats and cheeses situated for the most peckish of palates. This tray is sure to delight everyone in your party.
9. Kielbasa and Potato Pierogi, Wine & Dine featuring Festival Favorites (World Showplace)
I am not of fan of pierogis; the texture is unappealing to me. Even so, this pierogi is flavorful and was a delight to try, and I would get it again.
8. Macaroni and Cheese with Boursin, Mac & Cheese (World Showplace)
I am sure that everyone has a family member who makes fantastic macaroni and cheese. While no one can rival that recipe, this macaroni and cheese is creamy and savory. The herbed panko gives a delightful crunch, elevating the texture of this comforting food.
7. Crispy Pork Belly, Brazil
I never let a pork belly pass me. I love the crunchy texture and the rich fatty flavors. Paired with the black beans this dish is well rounded and
6. Brioche Cake, France
Full disclosure, I loved everything that France had to offer. This raspberry cake is balanced with its sweetness and tartness. This dessert is a can't miss.
5. Braised Duck Confit, France
Yes, this crispy duck is slowly cooked in fat! It is crispy and flavorful and delightful to the palate.
4. New England Lobster Roll, Hops & Barley
I didn't want to like it. I am avoiding sandwiches since it is difficult to wash my hands at these booths. There is a restroom next to Hops & Barley! With clean hands, I dug into this Sammy. Be sure to pour the butter sauce on top.
3. Lobster Tail with Meyer Lemon Emulsion, Citrus Blossom
This one is a little small, but the flavor is a giant. This Florida lobster tail does require hands when eating, but it comes on a skewer, so you don't have to go all in.
2. Goat Cheese Tart, France
This crispy and savory treat is my favorite from France. The flaky buttery crust is well cooked, and the goat cheese offers just enough tang to inspire.
1. Beef Filet Mignon, Canada
This one left me speechless. Be sure to eat it right away, or it will become chewy and difficult to eat. When you get it, brace yourself for the punch of flavor. Be sure to get the truffle sauce in every bite.
